Kirsten-Ellen Fleming is the executive director of the Calgary Marathon Society, the not-for-profit organizing body of the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon, The U of C Dino Dash, and the Calgary Halloween Night Race. Kirsten is a journalist by trade with 8 years of experience in broadcasting in Calgary. After a stint working in marketing and communications in the Middle East, Kirsten returned to Calgary in 2012 to promote and grow the Calgary Marathon. She is thrilled to give back to the running community and market Calgary as a fantastic place to live, work and play in her dream job. A self-proclaimed "middle of the packer," Kirsten has ran marathons in Canada, Dubai, Beirut, France, Scotland and most recently she crossed off the New York City Marathon from her bucket list.
