Course Measurement

World Athletics/AIMS Course Measurement Seminars

World Athletics/AIMS course measurement seminars allow people to understand and perform basic course measurement. Following a seminar a measurer should have the basic technical knowledge necessary to measure a course and produce a measurement report that can be easily and unambiguously understood by an informed reader. Course measurement seminars are managed and facilitated by Grade A measurers.

There is no attempt to assess a course participant's ability to document their measurements as part of the World Athletics/AIMS Course Measurement Seminar. Seminar participants wishing to obtain designation as a C Grade measurer will have 12 months to submit at least 2 measurements to the International Administrator for review.
